TransportationTransportationThe Prairie Five RIDES transit system is a demand responsive combination of Volunteer Drive and bus service. Eligibility: General Public of all ages serves the counties of: Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift and Yellow Medicine
City Systems: Appleton, Canby, Madison, Ortonville Destinations with buses: Twin Cities, Marshall, Willmar, St. Cloud, and Moorhead. We go to areas throughout the state with Volunteer Drivers and some locations to North & South Dakota. Please call in your reservations twenty-four (24) hours in advance for regional rides. Passenger Assistants (RIDES Escorts) available upon request to accommodate you when you need an extra arm for support, guidance around medical facilities, assistance with shopping or even putting groceries away and more. Tokens: 8 for $5 City Transit Monthly Pass: Unlimited Rides for everyone at $20 Youth (K - 12) Summer Pass: Unlimited Rides for $30 Youth (K - 12) Punch Card: 20 punches for $10 General Public Punch Card: 16 punches for $10 |
