Senior Meal SitesCongregate mealsPrairie Five supports a Senior Nutrition Program serving 23 site locations with Congregate Dining. The Program promotes health and independent living in the senior population through improved nutrition and reduction of social isolation. Participants are asked to donate what they can afford for the cost of each meal. Suggested donation rate is $3.25. Participant donations account for over 41% of the total operating budget for the Program. Noon meals are served on week days (not on holidays) in these communities. Reservations are needed; please call the day before or on Friday for Monday�s meal. See list below under each county. Home Delivered Meals Noon meals are delivered to homes within the city limits, on weekdays. Special arrangements may be made for weekends or extra meals. Please call the agency providing service the day before or on Friday for Monday�s meal. See list below under each county.
Frozen Meals Frozen meals are also available from Prairie Five, to all residents of the five counties. Call 1-800-292-5437 to place an order. Frozen meals may also be ordered through the meal site. The site manager will order for you and they will be delivered to the meal site for pickup. You may order a 2 week supply of frozen meals, the suggested donation for each meal is $3.25.
