Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccination every 10 years for all adults up to the age of 65. The pertussis (whooping cough) is especially important for parents and grandparents and caregivers of small children.
HPV (Human papillomavirus) trade name Gardisil or Cervarix is recommended for females up to the age of 26 to prevent genital warts and cervical cancer, and for males up to the age of 26 to prevent genital warts.

You may be eligible for low cost vaccines.

If your insurance does not cover vaccines, you have a high deductable or are un-insured, some of the adult vaccines are available from Countryside Public Health at minimal cost. Act soon as this offer only will be good through until March 2011, funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Call your Countryside office more details and to schedule an appointment and get more details.
