Nursing Homes – A Nursing home is a residence that provides a variety of services such as a room, meals, recreational activities, assistance with activities of daily living and protection/supervision to residents. Nursing homes are licensed by the state and are required to follow state and federal regulations. Some nursing homes specialize in areas such as Alzheimer’s disease, pain management, incontinence training and cardiac rehab.
Customized Living These apartment style buildings offer staff on duty during the day hours to assist with activities of daily living.
24 hr Customized Living –(Elderly Foster Care) Living in a 24 hour staff supervised facility to assist with daily skills and activities
Adult Day Care - Adult day care includes programs, services, and facilities designed to assist physically or mentally impaired adults remain in their communities. These are persons who might otherwise require institutional or long-term care and rehabilitation.
